Privacy Policy

1. Preamble

This policy describes how Crownfort Private Services processes the personal data of people who browse the Site or make contact regarding a service, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and French data-protection law.

2. Data controller

3. Data collected and purposes

The Site has no data-collection form of its own. Personal data is only collected in the following two situations, each initiated by the individual concerned:

3.1 Email enquiries — Data sent to contact@crownfortprivate.com (name, email address, message content) is processed to respond to the enquiry and, where relevant, to pursue a pre-contractual relationship. Legal basis: steps taken at the individual’s request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), or legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f)).

3.2 Appointment booking via Calendly — When someone books an appointment, they are directed to a booking tool provided by Calendly, LLC, a service provider involved in processing the information necessary to schedule and manage the appointment (such as name and email address). Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at the individual’s request (Art. 6(1)(b)).

3.3 Contractual relationship — Should a contractual relationship subsequently be formed, data necessary to perform it (correspondence, billing details where applicable) is processed on the basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) and retained according to the legal, accounting, or commercial retention periods applicable to that relationship, which may differ from those set out in section 5.

4. Recipients

Nora Chmiti is the sole recipient of enquiries received by email. For appointment booking, the information necessary to schedule the appointment is processed by Calendly, LLC, a third-party service provider, under its own privacy policy. No data is sold or passed to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Retention

Data relating to a simple contact or booking enquiry is retained for a maximum of 3 years from collection or from the last contact initiated by the individual concerned, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise. This period does not apply to every category of data: data connected to an actual contractual relationship follows the legal, accounting, or tax retention periods applicable to that relationship, which may exceed 3 years. Beyond these periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

6. International transfers — Calendly’s role

Calendly, LLC is a US-based company. According to Calendly’s published privacy policy, the information it processes in connection with appointment booking is stored and processed in the United States (or other countries where its providers are located), and Calendly states that it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses, and, for the UK, the UK Addendum, to govern transfers of data from the European Union. 7. Cookies and third-party services

The Site itself does not incorporate any audience-measurement, advertising, or marketing-tracking tool (such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or equivalent). The Calendly booking tool only loads when a visitor deliberately clicks the booking button; it is neither present nor active when a page first loads. Once activated, this third-party tool may set its own cookies or trackers, as described in Calendly’s privacy policy, which we invite you to consult.

8. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect data transmitted through the channels described above.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data. These rights may be exercised by writing to contact@crownfortprivate.com.

10. Complaints to the CNIL

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data-protection authority.

11. Updates to this policy

This policy may be revised to reflect changes to the Site, the tools used, or applicable law. The version in force is the one published on the Site at the time of consultation.
